Abstract: A study of the teeth from two medieval Serbian necropolis (Žiča and Čačak) included investigation of the measurable and non-metrical variations in tooth form. Dental morphology is the result of complex relationship between genetics and environment and, as a convenient and easily recorded aspect of phenotypic variations, could be suitable method of examining biological relationships between ancient populations and their evolutionary trends. The study treated a shape of the crowns, roots number and morphology of the molars occlusal surface.
