200 individuals, men and women from Biala Slatiana and 160 individuals of the both sexes from Borovan by dermatoglyphic traits, were studied. Finger and palm patterns of 360 individuals of both sexes were analyze d by the Cummins and Midlo's method (1961) On the basis of the data received it was established that the investigated population is too homogenous according to the studied dermatoglyphic traits. By means of method t-criterion it was established a bimanual asymmetry in men from Biala Slatina by two traits: Ну and III interdigital pad. In men from Borovan a bimanual asymmetry was established by two traits as well: Th/I and III interdigital pad Besides, it was established a sexual dimorphism only in men from Borovan by the trait Th/I interdigital pad.
