The modern population of Montenegro was considered in physical antropology as the most typical representatives of Dinaric race which was described by using just Montenegrins as a model at the end of the last century. This race was in generally accepted in classfications of human races, that is antropologic characters of group of human populations. Antropologic complex of recent montenegrins population demonstrates succession with population of Paleoantropologic complex of the early Iron period from the region Petrovići (Nikšić), as well as with Mezolyt and Early Neolyt population from Danube Basen, especially by the skeleton massivness, brahicranic and some facial parametres. The epochal changes of Montenegrins, brahychefalisation and gracylization, devert from general direction typical for Slavs and European populations.
