Uspomene na Španiju u prozi Jelene Dimitrijević 'Sedam mora i tri okeana - putem oko sveta'
Uspomene na Španiju u prozi Jelene Dimitrijević 'Sedam mora i tri okeana - putem oko sveta'
W książce o podróży na Bliski Wschód pt. Siedem mórz i trzy oceany.
Velimir Živojinović Massuka and German literature in the “Misao” magazine
Velimir Živojinović Massuka and German literature in the “Misao” magazine
The aim of this study is to determine the importance of Velimir Živojinović Massuka’s role in presenting German literature in the “Misao” magazine (published in Belgrade, 1919 through 1937). As a translator, editor and critic Zivojinovic strongly influenced overall presentation of the German literature in the magazine. Research shows that all the translations of the works by German authors (Goethe, Heine, Rener, Evers) were published at the time when Živojinović was the editor of the magazine or a co-editor with Sima Pandurović or Živko Milićević. In that period a large number of studies and other works on German literature was published as well, which significantly and fruitfully influenced the profile and the quality of the magazine, thus contributing to the strengthening of German-Serbian cultural ties after the First World War.

Who wrote the book "Sveštena istorija", translated by Jovan Rajić?
In 1793 in Vienna was published the book called "Sveštena istorija" ("Sacred history"), in Serbian language. It was known that the translator was Jovan Rajić, but the author remained unknown at that time. In the early 20th century Dimitrije Ruvarac attributed the book to Platon Levšin. As relevant information it became a part of almost all bibliographic sources. The paper deals with the issue, trying to establish, on the basis of bibliographical and literaryhistorical research, identity of the real author. In addition, it considers the 18th century poetics of translation, as a necessary context for understanding the book and literary issues.

Zlatarić’s supplement to Osman
Zlatarić’s supplement to Osman
The specific similarity between the supplements to Osman rendered by Marin Zlatarić and Pjerko Sorkočević point to the existence of a common poetic plan. The joint concept could likely be the fruit of the cooperation between editor Džanluka Volantić and the supplementers. The storyline initiated in the epic was organised by Zlatarić into a plot which was to give a convincing reconstruction of the dispersed threads in Osman. However, he did not complete the supplement - it remained a sketch of the epic argument which he later intended to enrich with lyrical passages. Sorkočević’s supplement is conceptually more diverse and artistically more mature, which has led most literary historians to an unreliable conclusion that it originated earlier, and that Zlatarić composed his own looking up to his predecessor’s work.
